- Scenic Open Space: The public can view this easement property from Colorado State Trust land and BLM land to the south, east, and north. Another conservation easement held by Colorado Headwaters Land Trust is located nearby.
- Wildlife Habitat: This easement protects the corridors used by wildlife to move between the forested areas of higher elevations to the north and lower sagebrush and riparian areas to the south and east. Lindsey Creek and the North Fork of Badger Creek support willows and riparian forbs and grasses and provide habitat for a diversity of species.
